Marcin Nowotny, a laureate of the ERC grant, delivered a lecture during the “Polish scientists – world-class science” event
The event “Polish scientists – world-class science” took place on March 27, 2017 at the Copernicus Science Centre. Lectures were delivered by 4 speakers: Justyna Olko, PhD, DSc Habil, the University of Warsaw; Prof. Maciej Konacki, Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center; Natalia Letki, PhD, Dsc Habil, the University of Warsaw, and Marcin Nowotny, PhD, DSc Habil. Marcin Nowotny, Head of the Laboratory of Protein Structure, gave a lecture entitled “How do you understand the operation of an organism at the level of individual atoms? Example from research on the repair mechanisms of genetic material”. The event was organized by the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union.
The European Research Council was established in 2007. At the tenth anniversary of its existence, events promoting its operations and initiatives are being carried out across all Europe.
