Laboratory of Zebrafish Developmental Genomics & Laboratory of Structural Biology

The Laboratory of Zebrafish Developmental Genomics headed by Cecilia L. Winata and the Laboratory of Structural Biology headed by Matthias Bochtler at the International Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology, Warsaw jointly invite application from motivated and talented individuals for a either a student or research technician position. The selected candidate will be working on a project to develop new CRISPR technology for RNA targeting in the zebrafish (Danio rerio) model organism (see https://www.biorxiv.org/content/early/2017/12/04/228775).

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree (or Masters?) in biology or biochemistry, or related subject and should have previous laboratory experience in basic Biochemistry and Molecular biology techniques. Additionally, candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English. The position will be guaranteed for 1 year. Candidates who are seriously considering PhD studies will be preferred and will have the possibility to continue working on the project as a PhD student after the period of 1 year (subject to review by the lab leaders).
