PhD Students’ Support Specialist

 

 



Job description:

  • Providing support and advice for PhD students and their supervisors.
  • Handling procedures and documentation related to curriculum of studies.
  • Handling the administrative aspects of a doctoral school run by the Institute.
  • Handling the administrative aspects related to cooperation with doctoral studies led by partner institutions.
  • Maintaining databases concerning PhD students.
  • Handling procedures and documentation related to the awarding of doctoral degree.
  • Cooperation with PhD Students Council.


Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD degree (preferably in biological sciences or a related discipline).
  • Proven experience in managing PhD students’ affairs.
  • Excellent written and oral Polish and English skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and forward thinking skills.
  • Self-management, initiative in action and high organizational skills.
  • Commitment, reliability, accuracy and timeliness in the implementation of tasks.
  • Openness and strong social skills.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
