Research from the Laboratory of Protein Metabolism on the CHIP-UFD-2 ubiquitin ligase interplay and its role in regulating lipid metabolism has been featured on the cover of the August issue of the prestigious EMBO Journal.

UFD-2, depicted as a jazzman, promotes cooperation between CHIP and ubiquitin-coupling enzymes, doubling the activity of CHIP represented as a double bell saxophone releasing ubiquitin. The graphic pays tribute to the famous Warsaw Jazz Jamboree, a festival adored by the authors. The article can be found at:  https://www.embopress.org/toc/14602075/2022/41/15
