Polish-Swiss joint research project initiated at IIMCB

On January 1st 2012, IIMCB initiated a joint Polish-Swiss research project coordinated by Dr. Marta Miączyńska and supported by a grant from Switzerland through the Swiss Contribution to the enlarged European Union.

On January 1st 2012, IIMCB initiated a joint Polish-Swiss research project coordinated by Dr. Marta Miączyńska and supported by a grant from Switzerland through the Swiss Contribution to the enlarged European Union.

The project is entitled “The role of tumor susceptibility gene 101 (Tsg101) in transcriptional regulation in health and disease” and its overall objective is to study novel functions of Tsg101 in selected signaling pathways. It will be conducted by three research groups, one from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (lead by Dr. Marta Miączyńska) and two from the Department of Biochemistry, University of Geneva (lead by Prof. Jean Gruenberg and Prof. Marcos Gonzalez-Gaitan).
