Since June, 1st 2012, Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki and his group participates in the three year project „Biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease”, acronym BIOMARKED. [nbsp]Implemented under the Joint Programming Initiative on Neurodegenerative Diseases (JPND), BIOMARKAPD counts 49 partners, within which four Polish institutions: [nbsp]IIMCB, Jagiellonian University College of Medicine, Mossakowski Medical Research Centre, Wroclaw Medical University and Research-Scientific-Didactic Centre of Dementia-related diseases in Scinawa. Our Institute is a coordinator of all these Polish teams. The participation of IIMCB and other Polish institutions in BIOMARKAPD is funded from the National Centre for Research and Development.
