Prof. Robert Huber, the Nobel Prize laureate, from the[nbsp] Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried visited IIMCB on[nbsp] April 19th, 2013 to give a seminar titled “Protein crystallography at the interface of physics, chemistry and biology”. The seminar aroused spectacular interest among the scientific community, demonstrated by a crowded lecture hall and a long list of questions following the talk. Prof. Huber inaugurated a series of open seminars to be delivered by distinguished researchers in the framework of an discussion forum for the Polish scientific community on the usage of zebrafish for studies of human diseases.
Prof. Robert Huber met with IIMCB scientists, visited the Institute. The Nobel Prize awardee visited IIMCB on the invitation of Prof. Matthias Bochlter, his former post-doc and co-worker.
