Specialist in Research Data Management and Open Science
in the Scientific Coordination Unit (SCU)
Job description
- Inform researchers on external and internal regulations in the fields of Research Data Management (RDM) and Open Science (OS)
- Fulfil financial and legal requirements concerning research data
- Cooperate with IT Unit to secure an internal environment to implement FAIR principles in research data processing
- Assist in collecting, storing, publishing and archiving research data
- Support researchers in RDM for grant applications and project implementation (annual and final reports, audits)
- Advise on preparing and implementing Data Management Plans (DMP)
- Coordinate open access to publications and research data
- Advise on open access publishing as required by granting bodies
- Maintain databases concerning publications (internal and PBN) and research data in repositories (e.g., RepOD, Zenodo).
Requirements
- MSc or PhD degree (preferably in biological sciences or a related discipline)
- Experience in research support & management will be an important asset
- Knowledge of issues of Open Science and FAIR data guidelines will be an important asset
- Excellent written and oral Polish and English skills (minimum B2 level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Analytical and forward-thinking skills
- Self-management and high organizational skills
- Proactive attitude
- Commitment, reliability, accuracy and timeliness in the implementation of tasks
- Ability to work as a part of a team

- Start of employment: 01.10.2023
- Gross monthly salary: 6 500 - 7 400 PLN depending on qualifications
- 13th salary after working minimum 6 months in a given calendar year
