You will join the project entitled “Biological control and pharmacological regulation of RNAs implicated in aetiology of Parkinson’s disease” carried out as the OPUS grant (UMO-2023/49/B/NZ1/02456) of the National Science Centre, Poland.

The main goal of the project is to investigate and potentially regulate the RNA regulatory processes that control the expression of alpha-Syn, a key protein associated with Parkinson’s disease (PD) pathology.

As a PhD student you will be responsible for culturing and analyzing iPS-derived neurons or C.elegans model of PD, studying and targeting RNA-protein interactions relevant for PD aetiology, analyzing the data, preparing various forms of dissection of the results obtained and participating in the mandatory activities of the Doctoral School.
