The 1st Women in Science Symposium (WiSS) is an initiative of the postdoc community at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, and it aims at increasing the awareness of young scientists of their own potentials and opportunities, with special emphasis on women's presence in the scientific world.
During the two-day symposium, the participants will come together with successful, renowned scientists of diverse professional backgrounds including academia, industry, scientific publishing, and sociology. The program that we have designed includes numerous lectures, workshops, scientific-speed dating, and a round table discussion. Due to its international character, the symposium is held entirely in English.
The symposium is free of charge. Read more about WiSS and register: 1st Women in Science Symposium
