Today, 11^th of February, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. It's a special day to promote full and equal access to education and to strengthen participation in the science of women from all over the world. IIMCB supports and promotes women's participation in science. One of our initiatives, the 1^st Women in Science Symposium (WiSS), aims at increasing the awareness of young scientists of their own potentials and opportunities, with special emphasis on women's presence in the scientific world. WiSS 2021 will take place on the 4^th and 5^th of March and it is free of charge. See more: WiSS 2021.
