The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw invites to the ceremonial launch of Prof. Andrzej Dziembowski and Dr. Wojciech Pokrzywa’s GRIEG projects, which will take place on January 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (online).
During the meeting, Prof. Dziembowski and Dr. Pokrzywa, together with their Norwegian partners will talk about their projects and the results they are hoping to achieve. They will also answer questions from guests and meeting participants. Among the speakers, we will also host a representative of the National Science Center (NCN) who will introduce the principles and mechanism of the Norwegian Funds. NCN is in charge of the Basic Research Program under which GRIEG projects are financed.

Prof. Andrzej Dziembowski received funds to conduct research under the project “The impact of cytoplasmic polyadenylation on local translation in neurons” which is implemented jointly with the Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw and the University of Bergen; Department of Biomedicine. Whereas Dr. Wojciech Pokrzywa was awarded for the project “Cellular adaptation to cold” with his partners from the University of Oslo.
