September 24, 2020 - UNESCO Regional Consultation on Open Science for Eastern Europe. This meeting was a part of a series of regional consultations aimed at building a global consensus on open science. It also builds a platform of communication for Eastern European scientists, science funders, policymakers, innovators, publishers, and other concerned stakeholders on Open Science. During the meeting, the impact of science on various areas, including politics and society was talked about. Ms. Urszula Białek-Wyrzykowska, Deputy Director for Development at IIMCB, took part in a panel discussion on Open Science from the Science perspective and gave a short lecture titled “Open Science: Polish Perspective”.
