The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw was awarded two grants within Welcome to Poland and Foreign Promotion Programmes  funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA):

I. Integrated support programme for foreigners at IIMCB

Acronym: InteGR@IIMCB

Project duration: 01.10.2019 - 30.09.2021

Funding: 454 200 PLN


Main tasks
:

  • improvement of the qualifications of administrative staff
  • preparation the promotion and welcome boxes for new employees and PhD students
  • professional translation of official documents into English
  • organization of an Annual Report Session with integration activities for all employees and PhD students
  • organization of thematic events in order

Program Welcome to Poland is co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development. Project “Raising the competences of academic staff and the institution's potential in accepting people from abroad - Welcome to Poland”, carried out within 3.3 Action “Internationalization of Polish higher education”, specified in the application for the project No POWR.03.03.00-00-PN 14/18.

 

II. Excellent Institute for excellent Scientists - international promotion of IIMCB

Acronym: PRomoteIIMCB

Project duration: 01.10.2019 - 30.09.2020

Funding: 99 900 PLN


Main tasks
:

  • organization of an international conference for young scientists in the field of molecular and cell biology
  • organization of scientific and mentoring meetings with outstanding scientists
  • promotion at European networking events/job fairs international information and promotional campaign

 

The main objective of the Foreign Promotion Programme is to support universities and other units of the higher education system and science in building their international brand and promotion abroad, while Welcome to Poland Programme is implemented as part of the project "Raising the competences of academic staff and the institution's potential in accepting people from abroad - Welcome to Poland" under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development co-financed by the European Social Fund.
