The Warsaw-4-PhD Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year 2019/2020 took place on 2nd of October at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Prof. Jerzy Duszyński, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Prof. Agnieszka Dobrzyń, Director of the Nencki Institute encouraged doctoral students to embrace the challenge of becoming the world's scientific leaders. First year doctoral students made their vows followed by an inspirational lecture of Prof. Tomasz Bulik entitled "Detection of gravitational Waves".
