The Centre for Innovative Bioscience Education and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw invite to the conference for teachers and science popularizers "EXCELLENT SCIENCE - how model organisms support scientific research". The event will be held on October 9-10, 2019. The program includes:

- lectures by scientists from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS, Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS and Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, who will tell about their research and used model organisms.

- workshops on communication and scientific education conducted by well-know popularizers: Wiktor Niedzicki, Present your education well (workshop in Polish) and David Price, Getting Your Science Noticed (workshop in English)

Participation in the event is paid (20 PLN: lectures / 40 PLN: lectures + workshop / 50 PLN: lectures + two workshops). Registration and more information (in Polish): www.biocen.edu.pl.

The event is co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education for funding of projects covering the activities to promote and popularize the science.
