Prof. Janusz M. Bujnicki, Head of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Protein Engineering has been appointed by the Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin, Minister of Science and Higher Education, as one of the members of the Committee for Science Evaluation (KEN). Prof. Bujnicki is in the group of thirty-one representatives of various fields of science and art as well as specialists in scientific policy.
The Committee for Science Evaluation is a new body established by the Constitution for Science. The commission's tasks include, first and foremost, evaluating the quality of scientific activities to be held in 2021. In addition to the evaluation of scientific units, KEN will also work on the evaluation of doctoral schools.
