On October 27, 2016 the Opening of the Academic Year 2016/2017 was held at Biocentrum Ochota. The PhD students of International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw organized the ceremony with the invited keynote speaker, Prof. Arkadiusz Chworoś from Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAS in Łódź.

The event started with the awards ceremony for the best PhD dissertations of year 2015 and short presentations of PhD thesis. The opening lecture ‘’The Magic and Beauty of Science by the example of RNA Nanostructures’’ was delivered by Prof. Arkadiusz Chworoś from Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAS in Łódź. There was a poster session with a competition for the best poster.
