Over 80 scientists took part in the ERC Workshop organized by the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Workshop was held at our Institute’s premises on September 19, 2016.[nbsp]The purpose of the event was to support scientists wishing [nbsp]to apply for competitive grants of the European Research Council (ERC) in both life and technical sciences. The Workshop speakers,[nbsp] Prof. Paweł Rowiński, Prof. Jacek Kuznicki, Ewa Kuśmierczyk, Prof. Agnieszka Zalewska, Prof. Tomasz Dietl, Prof. Francesca Cutruzzola, Prof. Janusz Bujnicki and Prof. Marcin Nowotny shared their experience, knowledge and practical tips regarding ERC application process from the perspective of ERC laureates, [nbsp]evaluators and experts. After the general lectures, ten selected ERC applicants had the opportunity to consult their project proposals with the Workshop speakers and experienced administrative personnel. [nbsp]
