On February 9, 2015 Prof. Janusz M. Bujnicki, Head of the Laboraotry of Bioinformatics and Protein Engineering received Prime Minister's Award for outstanding scientific achievements.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz handed the certifications of Awards to 44 scientists. [nbsp]Six scientists were awarded for outstanding scientific achievements, 10 for habilitation dissertations, 28 for doctoral dissertations and two teams for achievements in science and technology.

Prime Minister's Awards were established in 1994 at the initiative of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
