The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, as the only scientific institution, took part in the ‘’Grasz o staż’’ contest. On June 25, 2014 a ceremonial gala was held to celebrate the 19th edition of the contest.
‘’Grasz o staż’’ is a nationwide internship program organized by PwC and “Gazeta Wyborcza” daily. Every year employers can meet with outstanding students and graduates. Through the contest, young people from across the country have an opportunity to win a paid internship in the best companies and institutions in Poland. This year IIMCB has financed ten internships in five laboratories:
- 3 internships in the Laboratory of Neurodegeneration,
- 2 internships in the Laboratory of Cell Biology,
- 2 internships in the Laboratory of Mitochondrial Biogenesis,
- 2 internships in the Laboratory of Protein Structure,
- 1 internship in the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology.
