Award of the Rector of Warsaw School of Economics for Achievements in Scientific Area

The first degree team award granted by Prof. Tomasz Szapiro, Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics for monograph entitled “Medical, psychological, sociological and economic aspects of ageing in Poland”. The monograph and research results were published in March 2012 under the editorship of Dr. Małgorzata Mossakowska, Prof. Andrzej Więcek and Prof. Piotr Błędowski.

The “PolSenior” project was coordinated by the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw. Awards for scientific, didactic and organizational achievements for the year 2012 were given in a ceremony on December 5 2013, in the main hall of the Warsaw School of Economics. During this time Dr. Małgorzata Mossakowska was at the General Congress of the Polish Society of Gerontology (December 5-6), where she was elected for a member of the General Board of the Polish Gerontology Society for a four-year term.
