On October 5th 2011 in Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology University of Gdańsk - Medical University of Gdańsk, Annex to the Live Sciences and Mathematics Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies (LiSMIDoS) agreement from 24th November 2010 was signed. Appendix concerns the incorporation of International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IIMCB) in Warsaw in conducting and carrying out the LiSMIDoS.

LiSMIDoS coordinated by Prof. Ewę Łojkowską, Dean of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology University of Gdańsk - Medical University, received financing in the amount of 3 mln PLN from Human Capital Programme.
Two IIMCB representatives (Prof Jacek Kuznicki and Dr Jacek Jaworski) will participate in the LiSMIDoS Program Council and also in recruitments procedures. IIMCB faculty memebers will prepare educational offer (seminars and lectures) for participants of the LiSMIDoS studies. All lectures and seminars will be conducted in English in a modular form at University of Gdansk or in a videoconference form in IIMCB. LiSMIDoS students will have opportunity to have internships in the Institute in Warsaw.
