Wojciech Pokrzywa, Head of the Laboratory of Protein Metabolism at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, has received funding under the SONATA BIS (NZ1) scheme, organized by the National Science Centre (NCN). Dr. Pokrzywa has been awarded the grant of 3 686 840 PLN for the project entitled: "Adaptation of Proteins to Evade Premature Degradation by the Ubiquitin-Proteasome System". The project will last 60 months.
