Minister Andrzej Szeptycki at the IIMCB

Internationalization and challenges in the development of Polish science were the main topics of discussion during the meeting of Andrzej Szeptycki, the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, with representatives from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw.

Marta Miączyńska, director of the IIMCB, discussed the institute's 25 years of experience and know-how in building an international scientific organization in Poland. She highlighted the Institute's unique legal status, the role played by the International Advisory Board, and outlined future plans. Representatives of laboratory leaders and administration shared experiences from their areas. Minister Andrzej Szeptycki inquired about the barriers to the development of Polish science. The meeting ended with a tour of the Institute.
