International Advisory Board meeting at the IIMCB 

The annual meeting of the International Advisory Board (IAB), held in Warsaw on April 24-26, is a key meeting for the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (IIMCB) due to its strategic importance. Distinguished scientists from around the world participated in a comprehensive program of meetings and deliberations.

This year’s meeting included sessions with the IIMCB Directors, final stage of the competition for Junior Lab Leader positions, and in-depth discussions with members of  the PhD Students Council, Postdoctoral Council, and the Senior Researchers Council. During the meeting, the IAB also approved the Director's report for the past year.

An important part of the meeting was the evaluation of Lab Leaders, which featured thematic presentations followed by Q&A sessions. These discussions not only provided invaluable insights but shall also play a decisive role in shaping the future of the respective laboratories.
