In connection with the tragic death of the President of Gdańsk Paweł Adamowicz and the events of the last days, the directors of the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences signed an open letter. Together, they appeal to politicians and other public figures for the rejection of hate speech, which exerts a destructive influence on citizens consciousness and stimulates violence. Among more than 50 signatories of the letter is Professor Marta Miączyńska, director of IIMCB. Please find the text of the letter below:
