The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw invites to a Research Symposium within seminars of five top-quality speakers who are candidates for a Lab Leader position at IIMCB.

On April 23-25, 2015 IIMCB PhD students participated in the I Interdisciplinary Symposium of PhD students from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the PAS in Otrębusy, Poland.

Dr. Justyna Jezierska was awarded with scholarships for young researchers given by Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) under the START Programme.

On April 16-17, 2015 Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, Prof. Matthias Bochtler and Dr. Cecilia Winata participated in the COMBIOM Final Scientific Meeting in Kyiv, Ukraine.

On 3 March 2015, Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki and Dorota Libiszowska participated in a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the "European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers" in Brussels, Belgium.

This year IIMCB will finance internships in five laboratories.

IIMCB, AMU PAN and Teraz Polska Foundation are organizing a debate entitled "Role of science for innovative society".

On February 9, 2015 Prof. Janusz M. Bujnicki received Prime Minister's Award for outstanding scientific achievements.

The aim of the agreement is to establish a new research group in the field of bioinformatics affiliated with both AMU and IIMCB.

Prof. Agnieszka Chacińska, Head of the Laboratory of Mitochondrial Biogenesis, has been nominated by the Foundation for Polish Science to join AcademiaNet as an advanced researcher.
