Maciej Łapiński has received prestigious Diamentowy Grant (Diamond Grant) from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, as the only scientific institution, took part in the ‘’Grasz o staż’’ (“Play for an internship”) contest.

Piotr Bragoszewski, Agnieszka Chacinska and colleagues from the IIMCB and from the University of Freiburg discovered a process of retrotranslocation of mitochondrial proteins. This study has now been published in prestigious Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America.
