The main goal of the event was to present the state-of-the-art information on ciliary disorders in laryngology, pulmonology, andrology and psychological aspects of chronic diseases.
The conference is targeted to all of the neuroenthusiasts: graduates and PhD students, as well as undergraduates and professionals.
On October 27, 2016 the Opening of the Academic Year 2016/2017 was held at Biocentrum Ochota. The PhD students of IIMCB organized the ceremony with the invited keynote speaker, Prof. Arkadiusz Chworoś from the Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAS in Łódź.

Izabela Sabała, Elżbieta Jagielska and Matthias Bochtler were awarded the SILVER MEDAL for “Aurezyna – new way to combat staphylococcus” which has been honored as a special invention at the 68th International Trade Fair “Ideas - Inventions - New Products” – iENA 2016.
On November 25, 2016 IIMCB was hosting a delegation of European Junior Academy of Sciences (EuroJAS).
On November 24, 2016 Prof. Agnieszka Chacińska was honored with the Prime Minister's Award for outstanding scientific achievements.
On December 1, 2016 the General Assemble of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) elected new members.
