Prof. Andrzej Dziembowski and Dr Wojciech Pokrzywa has received funding under the GRIEG call for research projects financed from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021. 

Prof. Andrzej Dziembowski, Head of the Laboratory of RNA Biology received funds to conduct research under the project: The impact of cytoplasmic polyadenylation on local translation in neurons;

  • granted funds: 6 380 050 PLN / 1 497 699 EUR

  • partners: Uniwersytet Warszawski; Centrum Nowych Technologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego and University of Bergen; Department of Biomedicine

Dr Wojciech Pokrzywa, Head of the Laboratory of Protein Metabolism in Development and Aging, was awarded for the project: Cellular adaptation to cold;

  • granted funds: 6 389 842 PLN / 1 499 998 EUR

  • partner: University of Oslo

GRIEG is a call for research projects carried out jointly by research teams from Poland and Norway. Research teams must include at least one Polish partner acting as the partnership leader and at least one Norwegian partner.
