The objective of the workshop is to prepare scientists for the process of application for grants of the European Research Council (ERC).

The HOMING programme is addressed to scholars from abroad who wish to start a research project in Poland.

In the first competition 118 projects were submitted and ten of them received funding in a total amount of PLN 18.5 million.

One of two laureates is Dr. Izabela Sabała, head of the Aurezyna project awarded for the biotechnological applications of bacteriolytic enzyme.
