FishMed (Fishing for Medicines and their targets using Zebrafish models of human diseases) kick-off meeting took place at IIMCB on April 12th.

On April 12th IIMCB organizes a kick-off meeting of the project “Fishing for Medicines and their targets using Zebrafish models of human diseases”, FishMed. The inauguration of the project will be followed by a scientific symposium (see a poster). The event is open to all interested.

Prof. Robert Huber, the Nobel Prize laureate, from the Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried visited IIMCB on April 19th, 2013 to give a seminar titled “Protein crystallography at the interface of physics, chemistry and biology”.

Irina Tuszyńska and Marcin Jaciuk were awarded stipend grants for young researchers given by Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) under the START Programme

Dr Dario Piano is one of the laureates of the FNP HOMING PLUS Programme
