The COMBIOM Initial Scientific Meeting took place in Kiev, Ukraine, on May, 16th-17th. Organized by IMBG, it involved COMBIOM participants from partnering bodies: Institute Gustave Roussy, Paris, France and IIMCB. The ERA.NET-RUS FP7 research project coordinated by Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki was selected for funding.

Dr. Marcin Nowotny has been awarded an International Senior Research Fellowship Renewal from the Wellcome Trust.

In the outcome of the recent calls for proposals announced by the National Science Centre, IIMCB scientists received in total 6 469 475 PLN.
