Małgorzata Urbańska from Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology received the L’Oreal Award for Women in Science

On 30 October 2013, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski presented professorial appointments for 68 academic teachers, employees of science and art. One of the nominees is Marta Miączyńska, Head of the Laboratory of Cell Biology.

The project entitled ‘’Long-term, prospective study evaluating clinical and molecular biomarkers of epileptogenesis in a genetic model of epilepsy – tuberous sclerosis complex’’ is financed by the European Commission within the FP7 programme.

On 28th November 2013 scientists, enterprise and research institution representatives have been awarded the “Kryształowa Brukselka” prize for the leadership in European Projects promotion and realization. One of three individual awardees is Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, the Director of the IIMCB.
