International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology Annual Report Session 2014 took place in Mierki.

The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw invites to ''BRAINSTORMING SESSION on TALEN and CRISPR/Cas9 based methods for genome modification'', which will be held on July 18th (Friday) 2014 at 11:30 at the IIMCB lecture hall 012.

Initiated by Prof. Lena Kolarska-Bobińska, Minister of Science and Higher Education, the "Pact for Horizon 2020" aims to mobilize Polish researchers to obtain EU funds from Horizon 2020, the EU framework program for research and innovation.

The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, as the only scientific institution, took part in the ‘’Grasz o staż’’ contest. On June 25, 2014 a ceremonial gala was held to celebrate the 19th edition of the contest.

Foundation for Polish Science announced the results of the first edition of the IMPULS competition organized within the SKILLS project. Two researchers from IIMCB were awarded: Prof. Janusz M. Bujnicki and Katarzyna Kaminska.

One of the objectives of the FishMed project was organisation of a new research group. The Laboratory of Zebrafish Developmental Genomics, Max Planck/IIMCB Research Group is now fully operational.

International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology as a Consortium Leader with his project entitled “Research Infrastructure of Molecules and Cells (IN-MOL-CELL)” is one of the 10 institutions placed on the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructures

Łukasz Szewczyk and Marcin Magnus, have received doctoral scholarships ETIUDA in the competition organized by the National Science Centre.

Dr. Nowotny, Head of the Laboratory of Protein Structure was distinguished by the National Science Centre with a prestigious grant of 6 879 968 PLN within the SYMFONIA 2 Programme.
