On June 2, 2014 IIMCB was visited by the members of the German Science Journalists’ Association WPK (Wissenschafts-Pressekonferenz). The guests were hosted by Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, IIMCB Director. Prof. Kuźnicki gave a presentation about the Institute. Afterwards, German journalists met with Dr. Agnieszka Choluj, Head of the Centre for Innovative Bioscience Education and Hubert Ludwiczak, representative of the Technology Transfer Centre BioTech-IP.

11 members of the German Science Journalists’ Association visited IIMCB as part of their research visit to Poland. WPK was founded in Bonn in 1986. It is a registered association with non-profit status, based in Bonn. Their mission is to promote quality science journalism. They run seminars, off-the-record discussions, research tours and continuing education workshops for our members. In the public arena they organise debates to drive the dialogue between scientists, policy makers and society.
